(nee Mittelstaedt) Died peacefully in hospital, Saturday, January 6, 2001 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Heinz Willem and grandson Paul William. She leaves two sons, Helmer "Hank" (Helen) of Ottawa, ON, and Heinz Jr. (Dee) of Newport, North Carolina; grandchildren Karen Hoose (Dale) of Hay River, NWT, Peter (Margaret) of Embrun, ON, and Mike (Tracey) of Gaithersburg, Maryland and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by one niece, Grunhild Thoms (Willie) of Edmonton, Alberta, as well as numerous friends. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Rd. on Tuesday January 9, 2001 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday January 10, 2001 from 11 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 12 noon.
