Suddenly at Briargate Retirement Living Centre, Amherstview on Saturday January 13, 2001. Bill Cooke of Elgin in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Robinson. Dear father of Patricia and her husband Andrew Williams of Cambridge, Jayne Cooke of Ottawa, and Robert and his wife Joanna of Kingston. Dear brother of Ruth (Morris) Freeman of Guelph, and Eleanor (Pat) Dickey of Kingston. Predeceased by sister Esther Cooke. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Katie, Alison and Steve. Also survived by one niece and five nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Elgin on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's Anglican Church, Elgin would be appreciated by the family.
