Peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at the Ottawa General Hospital with his family by his side, after a brave 6 month battle with cancer. Much loved husband of Jennifer (Jenny). Loving father of Carol Sheppard/Leger (Jerry). Devoted brother of Louise. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Philip, Kevin, Nicola, Anik and Anne Marie. Proud step-father of Mike (Tracey), Sue (Jay), Jan (Colyn), Rob (Janice) Beardall. Predeceased by his first wife Phyllis (nee Heintzman). Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street Tuesday January 16, 2001 from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday January 17, 2001 at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive at 4:30 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
