Suddenly at home on Wednesday evening, January 17, 2001. William Samuel "Bill" Renwick Sr. of RR #2, Pakenham at the age of 58 years. Son of the late Robert Burns Renwick and his wife the late Margaret May Haskell. Beloved husband and companion of Jennifer Phillips-Renwick. Dearly loved by his daughter Jennifer Lee Blair, her husband Jamie and their children Cody, Hunter and Hanah of RR #2, Pakenham as well as his son Billy Renwick Jr. of Arnprior. Loved stepfather of Annette Levesque and her husband Don of Orleans, Chrissy Visneskie and her husband Rev. Dana Visneskie of Shawville and Robert Phillips and his fiancee Jen Tearle of Arnprior. Dear brother of Bob and his wife Frances of Almonte, Jerry and his wife Shirl of Markham, John and his wife Patti of White Lake, Helen Colton and her husband Frank of Arnprior, Millie Mills and her husband Oscar Hersig of British Columbia and brother-in-law of Gisele Renwick (late Roy) of Greely. Special friend of Sylvia and Wayne Murdock. Cherished "Poppa" of Jaden, MacKenzie and Jared. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many in-laws in both the Schroeder and Bonell families. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances. The family will receive friends at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Saturday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in St. Andrew's United Church, Pakenham on Sunday afternoon, January 21st at 2 o'clock. Rev. Heather Kinkaid and Pastor Dana Visneskie to officiate. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Queensway-Carleton Hospital Foundation, Mental Wellness Centre would be most appreciated by Bill's family. Ottawa Citizen, January 19, 2001
