(nee O'Toole) In Montreal on January 18, 2001. Peacefully in the loving arms of her friends and family. Wife of the late John Spencer Maxwell. Dear friend of Dr. Yvonne Bryan. Cherished aunt of Tony Keeler, Michael Keeler, Daphne Nairn, John Lovell, Dr. Walter Lovell, Robert Therriault, Camille Power, Edward Therriault and their spouses. Tante Marie will be sadly missed by her 18 great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward O'Toole and Agnes Scully, her sisters Aileen, Marion, Elizabeth and her brother Edward. Former president of the Women's Canadian Club and active supporter of the Montreal General Hospital Auxillary, member of the Hillside T.C., Royal Montreal Golf Club, St. James Club and the John's Island Club (Vero Beach, FL). An active and long standing member of 2 venerable organizations, the Rinky Dinks & Stockettes. March 17th and April Fools Day may never be the same again.
