Mom left us peacefully on Friday, January 19th 2001. She was deeply loved and is fondly remembered by her husband Don, daughter Cathy, son Gord, daughter-in-law Chantal, grandsons David and Patric, sister Bernice Ford and brother Gordon Murdoch. Mom was predeceased by her youngest brother Don Murdoch. We will be greeting friends on Thursday, January 25th 2001 at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, (one block east of Bank Street) from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends are also invited to join us at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27th 2001, at the same location for a celebration of her life. A luncheon reception will follow immediately thereafter. Mom's favourite charity was Christie Lake Camp, Newmarket Street; Ottawa, Ontario. Ottawa Citizen, January 20, 2001
