(nee Deer). 1917-2001. Passed away peacefully at Kateri Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2001. Predeceased by her husband Mike Montour. Survived by daughter Phyllis (Willie) and son Dennis (Jennifer), ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, brother Gordon, sister Margaret, many nieces and nephews. Resting at Poissant and Deer Funeral Home, Kahnawake. Funeral will be held on Monday, January 22 at 2 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Mission Church, interment at the Kahnawake Protestant Cemetery.
