In hospital, Saturday January 20, 2001. Vittorio Di Rienzo age 86. Beloved husband of Donatella (Martino) Di Rienzo and the late Giovannina (Romano) Di Rienzo. Loving father of Giovanni (Santina), Rita Parisi (Giovanni), Antonio (Carmela) and Amedeo (Anna Maria). Proud Nonno of Anna Urgolo (Frank), Claudio Di Rienzo (Patricia), Dora Puppa (Chris), Vittorio Di Rienzo (Natalina), Mario Di Rienzo (Maria), Felice, Giovanni (Lina), Gianna and Sandra and great grandfather of Caitlin, Sean, Alissia, Johnny, Vanessa, Nadia, Dante, Michael and Daniel. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends. Dear brother of Nunzia (Michele) of Italy. Predeceased by sisters Margherita and Carmina and brothers Michele and Francesco. Vittorio was born in Colle D'Anchise, Campobasso, Italy on February 13, 1914. He served in World War II and was captured as a prisoner of war in South Africa. Vittorio emigrated to Canada in 1952 and was followed by his spouse and children in the mid and late fifties. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (Centertown) Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Anthony's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Entombment Pinecrest Mausoleum.
