Peacefully in hospital Ottawa on Sunday, January 21, 2001. Winifred Cheney, dearly loved mother of Peter Cheney (Corinne) and Paul Cheney (Elaine). Cherished grandmother of Glenn, Wayne, Yolande, Blake and Jason and great-grandmother of Ellen, Thomas and Nicholas. Friends may attend a funeral service on Friday, January 26, 2001 11 a.m. in the chapel of Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. Followed by cremation. Ottawa Citizen, January 24, 2001
