Jessie Adah SPENCER

(nee Spencer) Passed away peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on Sunday, January 21, 2001, 79 years. Born in Anstey, Liecester, England, came to Canada in 1945. Beloved wife of the late Donald McAinsh. Predeceased by her mother and father Edith and William, sisters Nora (Fran Taylor), Mary (David Worrall), Dorothy (Ken Ford) and brother Bill. Survived by her sister Nellie (Dayman) and brothers John and Ronald. Mother of John (Madeleine), Heather (Ray Fraser), David and Patricia (Brian Hendrick). Loving grandmother of Kari-Lynn (Peter Thomas) and Stephen. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, both here in Canada, the United States and in England. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Drive and Baseline Road) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Inurnment Pinecrest Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Faught, Dr. Fung Kee Fung, Lynne Jolicoeur, Hillary Graham, and the many caring nurses at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. Also, sincere appreciation to Doctors Whiting and Schroeder, nurses Lynne, Maria, Barbara, Stephen, and all the wonderful staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre.
