Ida Norma THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Ida-Norma 1919-2007 Sous les soins attentionnés de sa famille, le 14 juin dernier, est décédée Mme Ida Thompson, après une longue lutte contre le cancer. Fille bien-aimée de feu Jack Thompson et de feu Lillian Allan, elle laisse dans le deuil son ami et compagnon de vie feu Ken Carter, ses frères et soeurs: Eunice, Madeline (James Bunclark), feu Lillian, feu Roberta (Richard Perron), feu Ernest (Irène) et feu Chester (Lillian); ses neveux et nièces et la famille Wiltshire pour laquelle elle a été une seconde mère: Honey, Doreen, Bill, Bob, Richard, Kitty et sa filleule Robyn. Inlassable bénévole, Ida était impliquée dans la Montreai East Community Church et dans les Scouts du Canada. La portée réelle des efforts charitables qu'elle a fait tout au long de sa vie n'est connue que par Dieu. La famille recevra les condoléances au: COMPLEXE FUNÉRAIRE DES TREMBLES, 15005 SHERBROOKE EST, POINTE-AUX-TREMBLES, le dimanche 17 juin de 19 à 22 heures. Le service sera tenu au cimetière Hawthorn-Dale, 15005 Sherbrooke Est, le lundi 18 juin 2007 à 11 heures. Beloved daughter of the late Jack Thompson and the late Lillian Allan, Ida is survived by her sisters Eunice, and Madeline (James Bunclark); predeceased by brothers Ernest (Irene) and Chester (Lillian) and by sisters Lillian and Roberta (Richard Perron) and by dear friend and lifelong companion Ken Carter. Ida will be missed. She leaves to mourn her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, including the Wiltshire family to whom she was a second mother: Honey, Doreen, Bill, Bob, Richard, Kitty and her God-daughter, Robyn. A tireless volunteer, Ida was a pillar of the community; she was dedicated to the Montreal East Community Church and to Scouts Canada. The actual scope of her charitable efforts over her lifetime is known only to God. Family and friends will gather to remember Ida at Complexe Funeraire de Trembles, 15005 Sherbrooke Street East, on Sunday, June 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Hawthorndale Cemetery , 15005 Sherbrooke Street East, on Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. Donations in Ida's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
