B.Sc. P.Eng, born September 11, 1922, in Timmins Ontario, passed away peacefully in Vancouver B.C. on January 23, 2001, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Predeceased by his parents and son Gaetano, he is survived by his loving wife Ida, son Bruno, grandchildren Dagmar and Sean, his brother Dino (Beverly) of Point Claire, Quebec, cousins Diva Segatore (Orlando) of Burlington, Ontario, Albino Marcassa (Irene) of Timmins Ontario, Sergio Gava (Phildean) of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and cousins of the Bendiera and Marcassa families in Treviso, Italy. Funeral and mass will be held Thursday February 1, at 11 a.m., at Holy Rosary Cathedral, Vancouver, B.C. Donations in Leo's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada are appreciated.
