Veteran-First Battalion Black Watch of Canada 1941-1946. At the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Tuesday, January 23, 2001. Daniel Garrett of Cornwall; formerly of Glen Roy and Montreal; age seventy-seven years. Survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Thelma Mary Garrett (nee Hobbs), sisters Edith McFarlane of Howick, Quebec, Lillian Goldie and brother John Garrett both of Calgary. Predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Garrett, brothers Robert and Ernest and sister Phyllis. At Mr. Garrett's request, there will be no public visitation. Cremation, with Committal in Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke, Quebec in the spring. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice appreciated.
