(nee Sparkes). Passed away peacefully at the age of ninety-three on January 23, 2001 at the Kateri Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John J. O'Brien. Cherished mother of Maureen (Louis Deer), John (Anne), David (Judy), and Irene (Rick Neal). Loved grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the heart and soul of our family. We will never forget her. A very special thank you to the staff at the Kateri Memorial Hospital for the care and genuine kindness shown to Miriam. Visitation at the Alfred Dallaire Wilson Funeral Home, 123 Maple Blvd., Chateauguay on Wednesday, January 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 25 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Celebration of her life will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 295 McLeod St., Chateauguay on Friday, January 26, 2001 at 11 a.m. Thence to Christ-Roi Cemetery of Chateauguay.
