In Montreal, January 28, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Leighton. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Henry and Marilyn, and Peter and Marilynn. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Tamara and Mitchell, Stephen, and Robin. Adored great-grandmother of Matthew. Dear sister of the late Sol Lawetz and sister-in-law of Jadzia Lawetz. Funeral service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue on Wednesday, January 31st at 11 a.m. Burial at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street.
