In hospital on Sunday January 28th, 2001 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Gwen. Dear father of Sandra (Frank Ainsworth), Wayne (Karen Dobson), and Darlene Scantland (Charles) all of Ottawa. Predeceased by his daughter Joyce (Dave Rupert), White Rock, B.C. Loving grandfather of Lisa, Tammy, Jason, Raymond, Bryna, Charles, Alexander, David and James, and great-grandfather of Miranda, Kieran, Andrew and Megann. Survived by his sister Margo Provost and many other supportive relatives and friends. Caring companion of Catherine (Dolly) Smith. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt), on Wednesday January 31st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
