Called home to heaven after a brave fight with cancer on February 4, 2001 at the age of sixty at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved father Luigi and by his cherished sister Angela Vani. Born on August 16, 1940 in Prossedi, Italy; Vincenzo Vani is survived by his loving mother Enrica Biasini and his beloved siblings and their spouses: Domenico (Giuseppina D'Emilio), Pietro (Iris Tanzini), Alberto (Maria Panzera), and Elena (Donato Pasquale). He leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews, and godchildren Gabrielle Angelina Jansen and Stefano Di Toppa. He will be missed by countless friends in Italy, Argentina, and Canada. Many thanks to Dr. Haichin, Dr. Langelaben and Dr. Trudeau. The family will receive condolences at Alfred Dallaire Funeral Complex at 7200 Newman Blvd in LaSalle on Tuesday, February 6 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 10 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Chiesa Madre dei Cristiani on Wednesday, February 7 at 10 a.m. at 7935 Lefebvre in LaSalle, thence to the Cote des Neiges Cemetery.
