(Murphy). Formerly of Montreal has been residing in Markham, Ontario with her daughter Arleen and her husband Tom for five and half years. Died peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday, February 7, 2001, at the age of eighty-six. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Purvis. Survived by her sister Agnes Murphy. Dearest mother to Patricia Rock, Michael Purvis and his wife Margit, Terry Purvis and his wife Helene, and Arleen Dorich and her husband Tom. Grandmother of Michael Rock and his wife Maggie, Lori Rock, Tim Bracken and his wife Gemma, Ryan and Erin Bracken, Patrick Purvis and his wife Ana. Great-grandmother to Connor Purvis and Katie Rock. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 10 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Georgetown, Ontario. Montreal Gazette, February 10, 2001
