(nee Allison) Passed away on February 8, 2001 at Agape Hospice, Calgary, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of seventy-one years. Shirley was born in Montreal, Quebec and moved to Calgary in 1979. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1974, her brothers Harland (Bumpy) in 1995 and Stanley in 1999. She will be sadly missed by her son Norman (Shirley), daughter Connie (Gary), sister Maureen, and brother Winston (Billie). She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley is fondly remembered by many friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held in Calgary on Saturday, February 10, 2001. Donations may be made in Shirley's memory to The Salvation Army Agape Hospice, 1302 8th Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB.
