Peacefully on February 9, 2001, at Toronto, Ontario, after a brief illness, at the age of eighty-seven. Predeceased by beloved husband Herman, and sisters Lea and Rebecca. Dear sister of Berta Goldstein and Jean Jianu, loving mother and mother-in-law of Theodore (Ted) and Elizabeth, and grandmother of Sarah. A graveside service and interment was held on February 11, 2001 in the Community Section 1 of Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Vaughan, Ontario. Montreal Gazette, February 17, 2001
