The family of Helen Nason (McAloney) mourn the passing of their mother on Monday the 12th of February following a brief illness. A native of Saint John, New Brunswick, daughter of Harry B. and Edna Elizabeth McAloney. Predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Grover. Survived by her children Sandra, Mac, Janet and Tim (Colleen); her grandchildren, Michael, Julie, Jeremy, Meredith and Cameron; her brother Jack (Helen) McAloney, sister Beryl (Mac) Steeves, and many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing, member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Charter Member of Canadian Showcase Chorus. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Wednesday, February 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 15th from 10 a.m until 12 noon. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
