(Prud'homme). After a lengthy illness we sadly announce the peaceful passing of Madeleine (Maddy) Jones on February 13, 2001 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Predeceased by brother John (Marcelle) and sister Pierrette (Emile). Maddy is survived by her beloved husband, George Edward Jones and daughters, Linda of Beaconsfield, Quebec, Karen of Calgary, Alberta and Dr. Fran Jones of St. Catharines, Ontario. Also, six loving grandchildren and her sister Francoise Prud'homme. Maddy was a friendly person and very happy to talk to and helped anyone she could. She will be missed by many friends and relatives in Canada and U.S.A. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff in the I.C.U. and the other wards where she was treated with such dignity and kindness. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Alfred Dallaire Funeral home, 14370 Boul. Pierrefonds, Pierrefonds, Quebec on February 17, 2001, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service at 8:30 p.m. Donations to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation, 175 Stillview Suite 205, Pointe Claire, Quebec, would be appreciated.
