Passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on February 15, 2001 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Gilberte (Lee Shanok) Ahken, dear father of Mike (La-Eard), Josiane (Maurice), Jean-Noel (Marie-Anne) and Henri (Marjolaine). Loving grandfather of Caroline, Isabelle, Stephanie, Kevin, Tanya, Karine, Sarah, Jennifer and Olivia. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Sunday, February 18 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, February 19 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will be held at the Rideau Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 19 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Rideau Memorial Gardens.
