At the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville, on Friday, February 16, 2001; Lena Catherine Roberts at the age of 62 years. Beloved wife of Edward (Ted) Roberts. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Joan of Ottawa, Darcy Roberts of Brockville, Melanie Burns and her husband Jamie of Kingston, Bartly and his wife Linda of Braeside, Brian and his wife Christine of Kars, and Lisa Pike and her husband Tyler of Brockville. Fondly remembered by seven grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Sam of Wawa and Mike of Edmonton. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. In celebration of Lena's life, a ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Donations to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
