In hospital, Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, February 21, 2001. Alphonsine "Al" Marie Evengeline Beliveau, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Thomas Batten. Loved mother of Carolyn (Patrick) Mc-Guire of Arnprior, Eileen (Douglas) Henderson of Smiths Falls, Diane (John) McLeod and Thomas (Cathie) Batten, both of Peterborough, and Pauline (Peter) Snell and Barbara (Ted) Parry, both of Whitehorse. Dear sister of Marie Doiron of Bolton and Bella Bordage of Shediac, New Brunswick. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls, on Saturday, February 24th at 11 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery.
