Passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday, February 27, 2001, in her 103rd year. Loving wife of the late Allan C. McGuirl. Dear mother of the late Joan Buchanan Burke, Sheila McGuirl, Ann Thompson and her husband Robert (Bob), and Rev. Allan McGuirl and his wife Florrie. Lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street at Goulding south of Steeles). Service to take place in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Committal service to take place at Pinecrest Cemetery Chapel, Saturday at 2 p.m. A special thanks to the caring staff at Bethany Lodge.
