DeGroot Wilhelmina Christina Maria (Nee Vermeulen) Of Hammond, Ont. peacefully on Wednesday July 14th, 2010 at age 82. Beloved wife of Marinus DeGroot. Dear mother of Mary (Pierre-Yves Lalonde), Martha (John Eligh), Joanne (Eric Waddell), John (Sheila Lacey) and Marcel (Gail MacDonald). Cherished Oma of Michelle, René (Chloé Guindon), Pier-Gui, Benoit and Joshua Lalonde, Adam and Matthew Eligh, Victoria, Sarah and Keith Waddell, Michael, Tyler and Erin DeGroot, Brennan, Elysha, Harrison, Brock, and Fraser DeGroot. Loving great-grandmother of Mattéo Lalonde. Beloved eldest sister of Friedes (Ella van Kemmenade), Anny, Jan, Maria (Cor Lijten), Christ (Martina Donkers), Wim (Nelly Bechouwe) all of Nederlands. Will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Neuro Sciences Department at the Ottawa Civic Hospital.
