(retired - Turpin Pontiac Buick, Ottawa) Peacefully in Perth hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2001, Art Sullivan of Westport, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Helen Jean Hannan. Loving father of Cheryl and Doug Ross, Peggy, Deborah and Greg Burke-Fagan, Brent and Allison, Brian and Barb and Randy and Carole. Grandfather of Matthew, Jordan, Kelsey, Kevin, Connor, Laura, Kelly, Tyler, Zachary, Amos, Megan and Riley. Brother of Lila, Eileen, Glenn and Ken. Art, a WWII Veteran, was one of the most respected car salesmen in the Ottawa area throughout his career. Following his retirement, he was often contacted by former customers hoping he would sell them another car. In respect to Art's wishes, a Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's, Fallowfield, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent. A gathering will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bells Corners, 4026 Richmond Road. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, caring and compassionate staff at the Perth War Memorial Hospital and to both Dr. Jackson Jr. and Sr. for their kindness and support. In remembrance, contributions to the Cancer, Heart and Stroke and Perth Palliative Care Foundations, would be greatly appreciated. Ottawa Citizen, March 2, 2001
