P. Eng. Peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at age 80. Loving husband of Lois (nee Knapp). Cherished father of Robert (Susan) and Patricia (Patrick Gillespie). Proud grandfather of Holly and Kaitlin; Michael, Brian and Amanda Gillespie. Brother of Harold. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. For those wishing, a memorial donation to the Queensway Carleton Palliative Care Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
