(Air Commodore Ret'd) Peacefully, at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday March 10, 2001. George Newsome, age 87 years. Beloved husband of 57 years of Janet. Dear father of Julie (Jerome) Lemoine of Paris, France, Nancy (Jeffrey) Ramer of Riverside, Connecticut and the late Graham. Dear grandfather of Jenny Ramer, Kathryn Ramer and Eric Lemoine. A memorial service will be held at Chalmers United Church at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Chalmer's United Church, in support of Radio Ministry, 212 Barrie Street, Kingston, Ontario, would be appreciated by the family.
