Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2001 in his eighty-eighth year at Lakeshore General Hospital after a brief illness. Beloved husband of the late Edna Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his children Diane (John Burchmore), Bob (Louise) and Bill (Shirley). Beloved grandfather of David, Lesley, Andrew, Laurie, Jennifer and Kenneth. Retired employee of Northern Electric. Special thanks to Hazel Knight and the caring staff at Residence Woodlands. Visitation Thursday, March 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray, White, Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20 (Exit 49, at Cartier), Pointe Claire. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Collins Clarke on Friday, March 16 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
