Peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior while surrounded by family on Monday evening, March 19th, 2001. Alice Virginia Diotte (Nee Normand) of Arnprior at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Augustin Diotte. Dearly loved mother of Mary Jane Parsons (Harold), Peter Diotte (Patricia), Robert Diotte, Denis Diotte (fiancee Debbie Kerr) and Roger Diotte (Lorraine), all of Arnprior. Dear sister of John Normand (Fran) of Thunder Bay and Jeannette Lance (Harold) of Deep River. Predeceased by her parents Desire and Ernestine Normand; 2 brothers, Daniel and Patrick Normand and 2 sisters, Mary Jane Normand and Eva Madore. Cherished "Mamere" of Chrystal-Ann, Kimberly, Shawna, Ryan, Jessica, Rebecca, Jason, Erin, Sarah, Katie, Jeffrey and Christina. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, March 22nd at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Malloch Road Cemetery.
