(Martin). Born December 20, 1911 in Dublin, Ireland, passed away peacefully at the Beverly Centre in Calgary, Alberta on March 24, 2001 to be with her husband Wesley Alfred, deceased March 24, 1970. She will be sadly missed by her children Thomas, Eileen (O'Connell), Patricia (Gordon Stokes), Kevin and Stephen, grandchildren Timothy, Loreen, Erica, Alicia, Leslie and great-grandson Anthony. At Ethel's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. A private ceremony will be held later in Montreal. A tree will be planted in living memory of Ethel at the Fish Creek Park in Calgary, Alberta on September 16, 2001. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
