Marie DEFOREL

Marie Philippe (née Deforel) Peacefully at the St. Claude Pavilion on Monday, January 17, 2011, Mrs. Marie Philippe of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 97 years. She leaves to mourn her three children: Denis (Claudette) Philippe of St. Claude, Norbert (Yvette) Philippe of Regina and Monique (Donald) Rosset of St. Claude; seven grandchildren: Suzette (Reynald), Marina (Dwayne), Janine (Dean), David (Sherri), Aline (Marc), Diane (Dave) and Daniel (Christianne) and 17 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Louise Major, four sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Marie was predeceased by her husband Robert Philippe in 2007 and by one brother Jean Deforel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Father Marcel Carrière officiating. Rosary, Video tribute and Eulogy prior to Mass. Cremation to follow and interment in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Pavilion or to a charity of choice.
