Doris Marguerite DEWAR

Suddenly at her home in Vankleek Hill on Tuesday, March 27, 2001, Doris Brown (nee Dewar) in her 68th year. Dearest wife of Robert Bruce Brown. Loving mother of Gary of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Deborah of Calgary, Alberta, Valerie Lanni (Arnold) of Toronto, Ontario, Kevin (Monica) of Lumby, British Columbia and Timothy of Vankleek Hill, Ontario. A special grandmother to Rosa, Elisa, Lianna, Tyler, Ryley, Josh, Chris, Hannah and Aaron. Dear sister of Shirley White of Hamilton, Ontario and Margaret Hiscock of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her twin brother Calvin and her brother Ivan. Doris was an especially active member of the Girl Guides of Canada, 4H Groups in the local area and a Home Craft Director of the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society for many years, she will be deeply missed by all. In celebration of Doris's life a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Trinity United Church, High Street, Vankleek Hill at 2:00 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers or donations, please give some time to help within the community.
