(Ret'd Capt. RCOC) Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 in his 82nd year, strong and courageous to the end. Beloved husband for 59 years of Mary Dunsmore (nee Hector). Loving father of David James (Margaret) and Linda Brown (Marc). Dear grandfather of Sarah and Caitlin Dunsmore Brown. Brother of Lillian Gardner of Edmonton and the late Jean Sadler and Tom Dunsmore. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews across Canada. Clair's family is grateful for all the support provided by his many caregivers in recent years and to the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital in recent days.
