LALONDE, Irvine – Peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice with his family by his side, on Thursday, January 27th, 2011. Irvine Lalonde of Cornwall, 30 year employee of Courtaulds; age 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (Pominville) Lalonde. Dear father of Richard (Marlene), Norman (Bonita Gardner), Robert (Carmen), Albert, Mark (Kim), Steven (Cathy), Sonya Dore (the late Richard) and Colleen Michaud (John) all of Cornwall. Loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Joseph Lalonde and the late Rachel McGillvray. Dear brother of Gary Lalonde (Elaine) of Bonville. Predeceased by one brother Wayne (Madeleine) of Cornwall. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, January 31, 2011 for service in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Cremation. The family will be in attendance Sunday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
