BA Queens '37 Former OBE Retired VE3BY Retired Peacefully at Extendicare Medex on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 G. William (Bill) Motherwell in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents Robert M. Motherwell and Irene E. King. Cherishing his memory are his wife Lenore Coleman, daughters Elizabeth (Liz) (Martin Collen), Buckinghamshire, England, Barbara Smith (Robert), Nepean, brother Robert K. Motherwell (Phyllis), B.C., sister Elizabeth Barrie (Betty), Ottawa, brothers-in-law Dr. Lloyd Coleman, Guelph, Horrace K. Coleman, Calgary and their families in Lethbridge, London, Toronto, Ottawa, Qatar, Powassin, Belleville, Orleans and Stittsville. Bill's career in education took him to Picton, Carleton Place and in Ottawa to Fisher Park, Glebe and Brookfield. Cremation has taken place and friends, relatives, former colleagues and students may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod St., Tuesday, April 3. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 1099 Maitland Avenue, Ottawa Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at 11 a.m. Inurnment Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, Ontario. Memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Avenue, Ottawa, or Extendicare Medex Family Support Group, 1865 Baseline Road, Ottawa, would be appreciated by the family.
