(1912-2001). Born November 8, 1912 in Istanbul, passed away at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal on March 27, 2001. He was a graduate of St. Joseph's French College, Istanbul, and was fluent in many languages. He enjoyed an outstanding philosophy on life. His humour, warmth and kindness will be with us forever. Dearly loved and sadly missed by his wife Sofia Kalfas, his nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his sister Fannie. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Jewish General Hospital. The family will receive relatives and friends at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont, T.M.R. The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2001 at 11 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, thence to Mount Royal Cemetery.
