Died peacefully March 28, 2001 at his residence in his eighty-ninth year. Survived by his son Leo Doucet Jr. and wife Donna of Newmarket, Ontario, grandchildren Shawn, Jason and Cathy. Also survived by younger brother Tom and family of Wolfeville, Nova Scotia. A long time membership director in the province of Quebec of the Loyal Order of Moose.
