PROVOST, Veronica. Passed away on Monday February 21, 2011 at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site. Veronica Mary Prevost (nee Howard) of Cornwall; age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Conrad Provost. Loving mother of Harvey Provost (Hilda) of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Lillian Smith (Barrie) of Berwick and Sharron Provost (Gerald Armstrong) of Brockville and great-grandmother of Kelsey and Cassidy Smith. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Survived by chosen sister Loretta Durland of Sudbury and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan, Cornwall Funeral Home, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday February 24, 2011 for service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 12 P.M. until the time of service on Thursday. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
