Passed away suddenly on Monday, April 2, 2001, at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, Ontario, in his fifty-ninth year. Beloved husband of Pam (nee Taylor). Loving father of Dawn (Ole Holm), Robbie (Heidi LeGallee), Davin, Jennifer Langille (Patrick Kearney), Christina Langille (Francois Laberge). He was the super grandfather (Poppa John) of Jessica, Layla, Kristian, Troy, Julian, Kaitlyn, Austin, Quinton, Slown and Benjamin. He recently became the great-grandfather of Gabrielle (Jessica). John also leaves behind a large family of loving relatives and friends. Son of the late Hanna Jannti and the late Aulis Hellstrom. John worked at Air Canada (engineering) for twenty-nine years. In 1991 he retired and moved with Pam to their dream home in Alexandria where they lovingly tended their gardens. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes, Alexandria, on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 11 a.m. memorial donations tp the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
