Mary Bardawill passed away in her 78th year. Mary was born in Guelph, Ontario to Richard Hewitt and Loretta (Rita) Gibbons. Mary was the loving wife of the late Victor Bardawill (1985). Beloved mother of Mary Anne Bardawill (Chris Margison) of Thornloe, Ontario, Thelma Shaw of Mt. Elgin, Ontario, and Richard Bardawill of Toronto, Ontario. Loving grandmother to Erik and Aura Margison and Daniel and Rebecca Shaw. She is also survived by siblings Fran Hewitt of Langley B.C., Julie and husband John Mumedjian of Scarborough, Ontario and John Delay and wife Kathy of Salmon Arm B.C. She was predeceased by her son Victor Bardawill (1993) and her sister Trudy Pearson (1996). Mary graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. Friends and family will be received at the Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Toronto on Thurs. March 3 from 7 -9 pm. Funeral mass will be at Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Ave. Toronto at 11 o’clock. Internment will be hosted at Mount Hope Cemetery.
