Went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2001 at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston. George Phillips, in his 71st year, beloved husband of Ina (nee Moore). Loving father of Penny Free and Stephen and father-in-law of the late Doug Free. Cherished grandfather of Scott, Douglas, Robert and Jennifer, and great-grandfather of Samantha and Hannah. Dear brother of Margaret VanDusen and her husband Ben of Arnprior. George is predeceased by his parents Goodwin and Isabelle Phillips of Arnprior, sister Ethel McArton and her husband Bill and brother Harry Phillips. He will be sadly missed by his many brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel, 900 Counter Street, Kingston on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 5, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Terry Pitt officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Evangel Pentecostal Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
