Peacefully at home on Monday, April 2, 2001 at the age of 75. Beloved husband to Pauline Mulligan for 54 years. Loving father of Helene Boggia, Lorraine Godard (Jean Marie), Jeannette Robert (Ron Kellestine), Jacques, Jean (Cornelia Bulau), Diane Robert (Tony Ronzoni), Richard (Joanne Forget), Daniel (Helle Fridberg) and Lise Veljkovic (Slavko). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Bonnie Jean, Kris, Michael, Christina, Anne (John), Daniel, Tanya, Patrick, Marie-Eve (deceased), Veronique, Philippe, Kyle, Katrina, Justin and Evan. Great-grandfather to Mykal and Nathasha Baytaluk. Son of the late Joseph Robert and Bertha Gauthier. Dear brother of Raymond, Roy, Gertrude Clermont, Therese Burelle, Claire St. Pierre and the late Emile, Andre, Bernard, Gilberte and Madeleine. He was an honoured veteran of World War II. Vincent's passion in life was devoting his time to the community. Friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Francois D'Assise Church (Wellington and Fairmont Streets).
