DONALD R. HUGGETT, FCA Donald R. Huggett, FCA was 'gathered' on January 19, 2011 at age 80. He is survived by his wife Mary and his children Nancy (Dan Lalande and granddaughter Jessie), Bill (Leigh Anne Hutchison) and John. He devoted all of his professional life to McDonald, Currie & Co./Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). During his career he served as National Tax Partner and Chair of the International Tax Committee of Coopers & Lybrand. He also was a president of the Montreal Board of Trade and a treasurer of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. But his most notable contribution and satisfaction was Canadian Tax News, which he produced for some 45 years. A private family service has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Don's life at the Atwater Club on Saturday January 29, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm.
