MERCIER, Eleanor (nee Mika) 1934-2011 Passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the age seventy-six. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Mercier. Loving mother of Diane (Henry Brisson) and Louise (Santiago Jose Salas). Cherished grandmother of Anthony and Alex. She also leaves to mourn her sister Margaret Mika. Mommy is now happily reunited with her beloved Gerald. Visitation at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344 on Wednesday, January 26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quebec Diabetes or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
