On Tuesday, April 10, 2001, the third day of Passover, after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted husband of Gisele (nee Somlo). Dear Daddy and father-in-law to Sandi and Robert Tanner. Loving brother-in-law of Viola "Ibi" Ungar. He will be sadly missed by his niece and nephew Suzanne and Andras Ungar, and Katherine Gill. At his request, the funeral and shiva are being held privately. We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to both our immediate and extended families and friends for their enormous support during this most difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. I. Benjamin, G.P., Dr. W. Hammouda, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff of 7th Floor North-West, Jewish General Hospital, and the 3rd floor, Mount Sinai Hospital, for the awesome care provided to him.
