1943-2001. Saionte,ti tsi iohontsa:te ne:'e saionthahi:ta ne ne tsi nen:we. The creator called for her on his eleventh day of April, 2001. In the light of early dawn, the wife, mother, sister, grandmother and life teacher, left this earth to begin her journey. She will remain forever embedded in the hearts of her loving husband John B. Jacobs, children: Alanna (Barry), Allison (John), Johnny (Tara), Jamie and grandchildren Jesse and Brady. Hazel is the loving sister to Junior (Carolee), Lionel (Dianne), Bonnie (Jean) and Judy, and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Poissant & Deer Funeral Home, Kahnawake. Funeral to be held on Friday, April 13 at 11 a.m. at the St-Francis-Xavier mission, interment at the Kateri cemetery. Montreal Gazette, April 12, 2001
