Longtime employee of The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, 39 years) Peacefully at home on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at the age of 60 years, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Coby (nee Snippe). Dear father of Bert (Pattie), Anita Barr (Rick) and Elaine Johnson (Aaron). Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Skyler, Chelsea, Christie and Alexander. Brother of Penny Bambury (Joe), and Jamie. Friends may call at the Rideau Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Drive, Kars (East of Hwy 416), on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 until the time of service at 2 p.m. For those wishing, a memorial donation to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
